There are numerous resources available on the Map the System Canada website to investigate systemic problems and consider levers of change – whether it be to help you in a course research project, a thesis proposal or for the Map the System competition itself.
We will list a few of the best entry points below, but do give yourself a little time to explore the resources for students page.
- Register for the competition! It doesn’t cost anything and you can change your mind at any time.
- Student Support Fridays with Map the System Canada: These are one-on-one sessions for students to discuss their projects, receive feedback, and get guidance as they navigate MTS. Students are encouraged to use these opportunities strategically (e.g., not booking weekly meetings unless absolutely necessary), though there are no hard limits to participation. Book a Meeting Here.
- FAQs for students curious about participating in the competition.
- Past competitions – these include examples of presentations, reports and systems maps (2024, 2023, 2022 etc.)
